The South Wales Federation of Townswomen, meet in the City Church in Cardiff, the committee meet to arrange events such as arts and crafts workshops and afternoon teas complete with entertainment and an annual holiday to Torquay. The Federation is made up of ten Guilds and has just over 400 members. The oldest Guild is Bridgend who have recently celebrated their 80th year. Every Guild meets once a month, the meetings usually consists of a speaker and lots of chat with refreshments, many Guilds organise other activities such as, walks, skittles, meals, cinema and theatre visits. Townswomen love to help others they knit and raise monies for good causes.

Townswomen Guilds are a fun loving organization offering support and friendship.
