Women's Aid and Facebook collaborate to keep women safe online

While social media is wonderful where it allows people to connect and keep in contact wherever they are in the world, it is not without its risks. Women's Aid have therefore worked closely with Facebook to launch a guide that seeks to help women and girls protect themselves online - and in particular, to help women who are survivors of domestic abuse.

TG has long been campaigning on issues surrounding Violence Against Women and Girls, and particularly Domestic Abuse, and we are delighted to see action being taken to tackle the online aspects of abuse. If you are interested in learning more about these issues, please do think about joining us at our conference in London on October 10th - details can be found via our online shop where you can also purchase tickets, whether you are a TG member or not.
