Relocation of TGHQ

– – – – RELOCATION OF TGHQ – – – –

TG’s Headquarters moved into new premises on Thursday 26th May 2016 and we are now operational.

Our new postal address is:

Townswomen’s Guilds, Gee Business Centre, First Floor, Gee House, Holborn Hill, Birmingham, B7 5JR

A redirection with the Royal Mail is in place and will be for the foreseeable future.

Our telephone number remains the same at 0121 326 0400.

Affiliation fees should still be sent directly to the Warwick address.

The Autumn issue of Townswoman will contain information for all Members but in the interim we would be grateful if you would please pass this information onto all your fellow Guild members.

Marie’s 50 years in TG -

Marie’s daughter Indra told us about her Mum’s long TG membership and how she is inspiration to all who meet and get to know her.

Marie Pooran came to Britain in the 1960s (from the Caribbean) and joined the Tottenham Evening Townswomen's Guild in 1971, a quintesentially British organisation which she has contributed fully to it - and continues to do so. At that time she was the only Asian member and actually for all of her 50 years has been one of few across many guilds and a rarity when attending the AGM and other events.
