Midlands National Carol Service at Coventry Cathedral - 12th December 2017

Report on the National Carol Service in Coventry Cathedral
by
Sue Smith O.B.E. Honorary National Life Vice President

Following the heaviest snow fall in many years travelling to Coventry for the Carol Service proved a great challenge. Unfortunately many Members were unable to attend with cancellations of coaches and buses but those that negotiated the icy conditions were not disappointed.

The Cathedral was lovely and warm when we arrived which enabled us to thaw out before the service began. The special welcome from the Canon Dr. David Stone and the Coventry Cathedral Chamber Choir made the service feel very personal.
