Legends Festival at Blaise Castle

Linda Nicholls, Uplands and District TG Bristol, continued her fun the following weekend.

At the weekend we went to a Legends Festival at Blaise Castle. The Bands played all the songs we were listening to on Thursday so I was well versed to join in.

This was the line-up for the weekend.

Saturday morning saw torrential rain in Bristol so we dressed for the elements with wet weather leggings, Anoraks and Umbrellas. In actual fact we were very lucky and it didn’t rain until around 7 o’clock, then the rain did come in. We left at around 8 pm walking out to “Gary Barlow” and Take That music. We were very glad we did as by the time we got home the rain was again coming down in torrents.

A few of the photos we took of the event. It was very well organised. Checking covid vaccinations as well as tickets. The Bands were great. Plenty of staff around including litter pickers and the vendors were excellent.

A great weekend. The sun shone brilliantly on the Sunday and I’m sure everyone had a great time, we were unfortunately busy on the Sunday.

This had been a 2019 Christmas present for my husband for last year but was of course postponed.
