April meeting 2018
Once again we were entertained by our Drama Group with another couple of tales of the residents of 'The Number One Ladies Retirement Home' written by our own Sandra Andrews. This time the ladies were returning home following their world cruise and we heard all about their problems at the airport and the difficulties they faced on arriving home.
The competition for a Theatre Programme was won by Lilian Enstone with her programme from 'The King and I' in the West End starring Yul Brynner and Virginia McKenna, a real piece of theatre history.
