Christmas Social Afternoon 14.12.2020

Members enjoyed a friendly afternoon running up to Christmas. Thanks to Jenny Hill and committee members for the plentiful cold buffet of roast beef, various quiches and salads, followed by gorgeous and calorific puddings! Thanks to Judith Ambrose for putting together a fantastic raffle with lots of desirable prizes, and to Andrea Johnson and the craft group for the beautiful knitted angels concealing Tunnocks Tea Cakes for each of us. Membersm also enjoyed the first performance by The Drama Group since our return from the difficulties of the pandemic, a clever short play written by our chairman, Sandra Andrews entitled 'The Benefit of the Doubt' A lovely afternoon which really got us into the Christmas spirit.
